Description:-


Isuzu Diagnostic Service System (IDSS) is designed to support Isuzu. The IDSS program supports vehicle engine configurations and controller systems. The system utilizes a laptop in conjunction with an industry standard J2534 vehicle interface device. Updating the system software is accomplished via the Internet.


Diagnostics Function


Current vehicle information will be displayed when IDSS communicates with the vehicle. After communication is established, it will be possible to access the following functions:
 • DTC(s);
 • Data List;
 • Actuator Test;
 • Programming;
 • Special Functions;
 • Module Information.


Controller Programming


IDSS Controller Programming allows you to update and reprogram various vehicle controllers based on part numbers and/or new available calibration files. You can program the following types of controllers by selecting Controller Programming from the TOC:
 • Engine;
 • DCU;
 • Transmission;
 • BCM/Mimamori.


IDSS Utility Functions


IDSS Utility Functions allow you to access previously saved information. You can access the following types of files by selecting Utility Functions from the TOC:
 • Manage Saved Snapshot files;
 • Manage Saved Freeze Frame Failure Record files;
 • Scan Tool Preview;
 • Graph Colors;
 • Table of Contents Colors.

This area is intended to provide a few quick troubleshooting tips that the user can perform prior to contacting the technical support staff.
